The Old House - The Holiday Home

Holemark Farm is 15 minutes by car from Tromsø Airport and twenty minutes by car from Tromsø city center. At our farm there's sheeps, dogs, horses and magnificent countryside surroundings. If you're looking for accommodation, we have a beautiful log house to rent out for you.

This was the first building that was build on Holemark. It is a traditional Norwegian log house, which is over hundred years old. The house is recently restored in it's original form, but with a modern comfort. The house is 100 m2 and has two floors with two living rooms, a complete kitchen, a warm bathroom with shower and towels and an open attic where to sleep.

There are two single beds that can be put together, a huge vintage bed for kids, plus some extra beds if needed. The house is great for a family or a small group of friends. We also have a playpen for toddlers.

The house contains:

- complete bedclothes, towels and soap.

- logs for the fire, electricity and hot water, bathroom with shower and warm floors.

- dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven for baking and cooking, refridgerator with freezer, vacuum cleaner and basically everything you need in a household (cups and cutlery, press coffee pot, boilers, spices, oils and simple ingredients, etc.)

- flat panel screen with NRK (Norwegian Television), DVD player with some nice and classic movies, and a DAB radio.
- And five minutes by car from the best grocery store in the whole world, Eide Handel.

- We also have a sauna down by the sea you can rent for a little fee. Then we warm it up whenever you want.
